What is a Monthly Download Limit?

Print

Broadband is not measured in time online - it is measured in the amount of data you send and receive within a month

For example Easykey Broadband SuperLite includes up to 2 GB (which is 2,048 MBs)

So how much broadband use is that?

It all depends on what you use the Internet for.

For an approximate guide One GB is roughly equivalent to:

  • 40 mp3s or
  • 600 emails and attachments or
  • 100 hours of general web browsing or
  • 4 hours of watching online videos

What if I go over my Monthly Limit?

Your broadband service will continue and we will charge you an extra £1.71 (including VAT) for each extra GB you use in that month - The next month your allowance begins at zero again.
