How do I move my broadband to Easykey? Print E-mail

Moving from your current supplier should be fairly straightforward.  However some broadband suppliers will try their best to persuade you to stay with them offering you deals or make things sound more complicated than it really is.

All you need from your current supplier is a MAC key.  The Migration Authorisation Code (MAC) is consists of 17-18 letters, numbers and slashes and usually provides a 28-day period to move your broadband seamlessly from your old provider to Easykey.

Once you have your MAC key (usually emailed to you) all you need to do is forward it to Easykey and we can then start off the transfer process.  Your broadband will continue to work with your current supplier and we will be able to inform you of the estimated switch over date (usually 5 to 10 working days).  At that point your broadband may stop working.  We will do our best to time it so we re-configure your router with the new easykey settings and you are back up and running with little or no disruption to your broadband service.
