What's in a name?  It is suprising that many businesses still use emails ending with hotmail.com, tesco.net, btinternet.com, ntlworld.com, aol.com etc...

Putting an email address like this on a business card can give an unprofessional appearance as well as mixing the branding of your company with Tesco, NTL or BT etc...

It is not expensive to register your own domain name so you can have name@yourbusiness.com.

Your email will be more reliable if for example it is hosted on our dedicated servers (this means you are not sharing the server with thousands of other email users.  Also you may not be as restricted on things like attachment sizes on emails that many of the 'bulk' providers impose.
