A cookie is a small text file sent to your computer via your web browser when you visit some websites.
Cookies store information about your visit - like where you went on the site and what you did.
What does a Cookie do?
Cookies have a variety of different functions, from remembering purchasing information or session.
A cookie from a particular website is stored on the hard drive of your computer and used the next time you visit that site.
Delete your Cookies
Sometimes a cookie can become "corrupted" (stop working) which can stop a website from functioning correctly - like an account with a login.
The simplest solution (and in fact a good computer health tip) is to delete your cookies.
In Internet Explorer, simply go to Tools, then Internet Options Click the Delete button and then click the Delete Cookies option.
