On Friday 19 June 2009 O2 will be launching an Internet Tethering service for iPhone users.

Internet Tethering describes the technique of using your iPhone to connect your Laptop/Notebook to the Internet when you are out and about.

To use this service O2 customers will need the following:

• Upgrade your iPhone software to OS 3.0 read more or get the new iPhone 3G S
• O2 customers on an iPhone tariff have to purchase a bolt on package costing between £9.99 to £29.36 per month
• Your laptop/notebook will need a bluetooth connection facility

This service is not available to O2 Pay & Go customers.
