Each article you publish needs to belong to a Section and a Category. Each Section can have a number of categories.
So for example a small to medium sized website could have just one section sy called content and 5 Categories called About Us, News, Products, Services and FAQs.
Once you have created Sections and Categories you can design Menu buttons for them controlling the layout.
In most cases if you already have a section - you will not need to create a new Section (just skip this bit and go down to Create a new Category
However if you want to Create a new Section do this:
- Login to full administrator login
- Click on Category Manager icon

- Click on New icon
(top right) - Type in the Title and Section Name (e.g. Articles in both boxes)
- Click the save icon

You have just created yourself a new section
To Create a new Category do this:
- Login to full administrator login
- Click on Section Manager icon

- Click on New icon
(top right) - Type in the Category Title and Category Name(e.g. About Us in both boxes)
- Important now select the Section you want this Category to belong to (in the pull-down menu)
- Click the save icon
(top right)
You have just created yourself a new category
Now when you publish a new article you can assign the article your new Section and corresponding Category
